“IL CAPRIFOGLIO” NO-PROFIT ASSOCIATION

          “Il Caprifoglio” no-profit association (A.I.C.O.), born in Rome in 24 march 2007. A.I.C.O. is a non lucrative association, develop and act his projects with a network of volunteers that spontaneously with gratuity  operate to reach the objectives.

         A.I.C.O. only act for social solidarity to help people, particularly young, living in physical, psychic, economical, social and familiar disadvantaged conditions.  

         A.I.C.O. main objectives are creation, promotion, sustain and coordination of projects in the fields of education, culture, social and health.

         To reach the objectives, A.I.C.O. propose the following actions:

• Develop and sustain economical and cultural projects;
• Develop and sustain basic education and professional training to facilitate the penetration in the job market;
• Provide economic and technological support for the projects;
• Provide health and sanity support.

What we are doing

• Sustain people living in disadvantaged conditions in a suburb of Rome (Italy) where there are 60.000 foreigners mainly with no job and economic support, in collaboration with Caritas of S.S. Simon and Jude Church;
• Sustain the project “lotta alla parassitosi intestinale” in a suburb of Nairobi (Kenya) helping 50.000 children, in collaboration  with “Africa chiama” and “World Friends” both no-profit association;
• Sustain orphanage Sangmelima (Cameroon) in collaboration with A.G.A.P.E. no-profit association;
• Sustain disadvantaged people of Mihailovca (Moldova) in collaboration with “Seborga nel mondo” no-profit association;
• Organization and sponsorship of socio-cultural activity for handicapped people like:

- Photographic prize winning competition;

-“disables in 4x4”, soon the third edition;

A.I.C.O. is regularly recognized by the Italian Republic as no-profit organization since 26 march 2007, registered in the no-profit registry office (see Prot. n.AC/cf/onlus 24747, 2 april 2007, Agenzia delle Entrate – Direzione Regionale del Lazio).
